During a recent showing of the fireworks display at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a portion of the Jack Skellington puppet's left arm detached and fell to the ground. The incident occurred while the character was introducing the performance in front of Cinderella Castle.

Puppeteers continued the show as the arm fell, allowing the performance to proceed without a stoppage. For the show’s finale, the production switched to a projection of the character on the castle to avoid using the damaged puppet.

Disney has not provided information regarding the cause of the failure or future repair plans. The nightly fireworks display remains a core feature of the separately ticketed Halloween event.
