Ongoing construction projects at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are now scheduled to continue through early 2027. The work includes ongoing road configuration changes at the front entrance of the property.
Refurbishment activity is also affecting specific areas of the resort itself, leading to the rerouting of some walkways and general construction activity. The resort website advises that some views of nearby theme parks and surrounding areas may be impacted during this time.
Despite the extended timeline, most resort dining locations, pools, and amenities remain available to guests. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace is noted to be temporarily closed through late October due to maintenance at the Great Ceremonial House.
