Disneyland has implemented a significant change to its Magic Key Annual Pass reservation system in response to ongoing guest feedback. Under the previous policy, pass holders were required to cancel reservations by midnight on the day before their visit to avoid being penalized.

The new rule removes these penalties and allows pass holders to cancel their park reservations at any time throughout the day of their scheduled visit. This change aims to accommodate guests who may be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness.

Disneyland President Jill Estorino and leadership have emphasized a focus on guest experience and listening to feedback. This shift follows previous challenges where pass holders were locked out of making future reservations after accumulating too many no-show penalties.
