The new land, currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2027, will feature two dining locations: Harryhausen’s Restaurant and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza. Harryhausen’s is a table-service restaurant based on the fictional establishment from the 2001 film, and it will feature an audio-animatronic figure of the octopus chef.
The menu at Harryhausen’s will include sushi and ramen dishes inspired by traditional Japanese flavors, with monster-themed elements such as eyeball-shaped fishcake and green eggs. Beverage director Evan Rosenthal stated the goal is to make the restaurant entertaining for guests of all ages.
Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will be a quick-service location with a college-themed atmosphere inspired by Monsters University. The restaurant will serve pizza and a signature frozen purple drink called Blort, which is topped with Scream Apple Foam.
