Disney has officially confirmed that the Convention Center and El Centro Corridor at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will undergo a significant redesign. The project, which began in August 2026, is scheduled to last through late September 2027.
Despite the long-term construction, Disney has confirmed that the Convention Center will remain fully open and operational throughout the duration of the work. Construction is being coordinated around event schedules, with the most intensive tasks planned for overnight hours to minimize disruption.
Newly released concept art highlights a refreshed design for the facilities, which will draw inspiration from the cultures and landscapes of Spain, Mexico, and the American Southwest. This aesthetic aligns with the resort’s original theme, utilizing updated furnishings and a modernized color palette.
