Disneyland cast members from the Characters and Parades departments have scheduled a "Rally for a Fair Contract" for Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event is set to take place at 10:00 a.m. on the corner of Harbor Boulevard and West Katella Avenue.
According to Theme Park Insider, these employees voted to join the Actors' Equity Association two years ago but have yet to reach a labor agreement with the company. Union leadership claims that negotiations have been slow-moving.
Actors' Equity Executive Director Al Vincent Jr. stated that the union remains willing to bargain with Disney to secure a fair contract for the performers, whom he described as the public face of the park.
