The Sassagoula River Cruise, which provides boat transportation between Disney Springs and Disney’s Old Key West Resort, has officially reopened. The service had been closed since October 12, during which time Disney provided bus transport as an alternative.
While the boat service has returned, Disney notes that exterior refurbishment work continues at the Old Key West Resort. Guests visiting the area may encounter construction noise during the day and should be prepared for potential changes to walkways.
Disney maintains a policy requiring guests to either stay at Old Key West or hold a dining reservation at one of the resort's restaurants in order to utilize the boat transportation to the property.
