The Walt Disney Company is reducing its workforce within the experiences division, which encompasses its theme parks, cruise line, and the Aulani resort in Hawaii. According to a person familiar with the matter, the layoffs affect between 100 and 200 individuals.

The company stated that the decision stems from an evaluation of the division’s current priorities, investments, and project timelines. Disney currently has a high volume of parks-related projects in progress.

Employees affected by the job cuts are expected to be notified by the end of the day Wednesday. The experiences division, which serves as a major economic driver for the company, contributed $36.2 billion in revenue during fiscal 2025.
