Netflix has announced that Peter Rice will take on the role of Chief Content Officer starting Monday, October 26, 2026. Rice will replace outgoing executive Bela Bajaria.
In his new capacity, Rice will oversee the streamer's content across scripted and unscripted series, film, and live events. He brings experience from his time at The Walt Disney Company, where he led networks and platforms including ABC, Disney Channel, FX Networks, and Hulu.
Prior to his tenure at Disney, Rice held leadership positions at 21st Century Fox and Fox Networks Group.
