A group of guests was removed and permanently barred from Walt Disney World property after violating park safety regulations at EPCOT's Mexico pavilion. Video footage shared online captured an individual exiting a moving boat on the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction and jumping into the shallow water along the ride path.
According to a statement provided to Entertainment Weekly by a Walt Disney World Communications representative, the behavior was classified as an unsafe violation of park rules. The spokesperson confirmed that the guest and his party were formally trespassed from the property as a result of the incident.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office reported that no arrests were made in connection with the event. Disney maintains strict safety policies for all attractions, requiring passengers to remain seated with their limbs inside the vehicle for the duration of the ride.
