A young female manatee named Calfuccino has arrived at The Seas with Nemo & Friends in EPCOT, where she will receive short-term care at the park's Manatee Rehabilitation Center.

A New Resident at SeaBase

Calfuccino's arrival is part of Disney's ongoing collaboration with MRP Manatee and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to support the recovery and protection of manatees. Video shared by Disney shows her first moments in the 5.7-million-gallon aquarium, swimming alongside two other manatees, Cider and Tani.

A Track Record of Rehabilitation

The Seas has long served as a temporary home for injured manatees in need of rest, recovery, and rehabilitation, with care spaces located across Level 1 and Level 2 of SeaBase. Calfuccino follows in the wake of Soleil, another young manatee who arrived in February 2026 and was released in May after a successful rehabilitation.

Disney has not said how long Calfuccino will call EPCOT home, but guests visiting The Seas over the coming weeks may catch a glimpse of her during their visit.
