Tokyo Disneyland has confirmed that Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, its first attraction themed to Disney's Wreck-It Ralph, will open on April 15, 2027.
The interactive ride will take guests into the Sugar Rush video-game world alongside Ralph and Vanellope. Guests will use scanners in their ride vehicles to help restore transformed candy creatures called Sugar Bugs, with points awarded for their performance.
Disney has also announced that the adjacent Pixel Prism shop will open on April 15, while the Popping Station snack location will begin serving Sugar-Lime Popcorn on March 17, 2027. Disney's official announcement does not establish that the attraction's opening was deliberately timed to coincide with the park's anniversary.
