New construction filings have been reported for two Walt Disney World resort hotels. Disney Food Blog says three Notices of Commencement relate to areas along Cayman Way at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and another filing relates to Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
The filings are described as authorising general construction, without establishing whether the work will involve guest rooms, exterior maintenance or another specific project. Separate reporting by WDW News Today also documents new Caribbean Beach construction filings, but not all reports refer to the same resort addresses.
Disney has not announced guest-facing closures or a precise work schedule for these newly reported filings. Guests with upcoming stays should check official resort notices for confirmed impacts rather than assume any particular building or amenity will be unavailable.
