Hailee Steinfeld has released a new cover of the 1984 song 'Magic' by The Cars in anticipation of her upcoming animated Disney film, 'Hexed'. Steinfeld, who voices the lead character Billie, noted that the recording process felt like a creative collaboration that coincided with her personal journey into motherhood.
'Hexed' follows a teenage girl named Billie who discovers secret magical abilities that lead her into a vast witch realm. To navigate this new world, she must team up with her mother, voiced by Rashida Jones, to uncover family mysteries.
The film features an ensemble cast including Walton Goggins, Jodie Foster, Henry Winkler, Dan Stevens, Tracey Ullman, and Stephen Fry. 'Hexed' is scheduled for release in theaters on November 25.
