The fire engine, a piece of Magic Kingdom’s opening-day history from 1971, has resumed operations on Main Street, U.S.A. The vehicle had been absent from regular transportation service for at least three years.

Guests can board the attraction near the firehouse on the western side of Town Square. The route travels along Main Street, U.S.A., and concludes near Cinderella Castle. The vehicle typically operates during morning hours, and is expected to be displayed inside the firehouse when not in service.

The fire engine features a bright red exterior and the identification number 71, honoring the park's 1971 opening year. Its return is part of a broader effort at Magic Kingdom to emphasize features connected to the park's original identity.
