Walt Disney World has welcomed a young female manatee named Calfuccino to the rehabilitation center at The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion in EPCOT. She joins existing residents Cider and Tanimura as part of a short-term program aimed at helping her eventually return to the wild.
Calfuccino was rescued in May 2025 alongside her mother near Naples, Florida. She has since received rehabilitative care at ZooTampa, growing significantly from 156 pounds at the time of her rescue to over 545 pounds today.
The relocation is part of a collaborative conservation effort between Disney, the Manatee Rescue & Rehabilitation Partnership, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Guests can view the manatees within the SeaBase Aquarium, which offers observation points on both Level 1 and Level 2.
