As the exterior refurbishment of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios progresses, a design element missing for years has begun to reappear. Scaffolding removal has unveiled a detailed purple lightning strike on the structure of The Hollywood Tower Hotel.
According to Laughing Place, the feature had either faded or been painted over throughout the years. The returning paint scheme is now becoming visible as maintenance crews continue work to restore the building.
This ongoing project aims to return the attraction's facade to its former appearance. Future updates are expected as more of the new paint work is uncovered.
